Skillet Green Beans with Almonds

A quick and easy one side dish.

This is a favorite way to prepare green beans. The almonds add a nice crunch and sauteing them with spices makes them delicious.
I have burned the almonds if I add them too soon. Make sure the green beans are almost done when you add them.



  • Gather and prep ingredients.

  • Add olive oil, green beans, salt, pepper and garlic powder to a non-stick pan. Mix together with tongs. Saute over a medium-high heat for about 5-6 minutes until green beans just start to brown.

  • Add sliced almonds to the pan. Continue to saute for another 2 minutes until almonds are browned.

  • Serve.
